  • Enrollment for Early Childhood Programs Now Underway

    Early Childhood Education programs in Westminster Public Schools are enrolling now for the 2017/18 school year.

    Thanks to the continuing support from the Board of Education, we are able to offer more options to interested families.

    Go to the ECE Website to learn more about our programs and begin the registration process.

    Slots are available for:

    Free full day kindergarten at all WPS Elementary Schools (tuition based at CO STEM Academy)

    • Tuition- based Infant/Toddler/Preschool  at WPS Early Learning Center (located at the Perl Mack Community Center) (new program)

    • Full Day Preschool-7 Locations (lottery coming soon)

    • Half Day Preschool-5 Locations

    Meal Benefits

    Use this on-line platform to complete an application for meal benefits.  We realize that not all  families with qualify for benefits individually, however, this is how we receive the school wide benefit of these programs for Hodgkins as a whole!  These benefits include the free breakfast, lunch and snack program for all students and our Title One program.  Please stop by the office if you have further questions.  We would love to help!

  • Tarzan: The Musical

    Swinging through the halls of Westminster High School, March 15th through March 18th is Tarzan: The Musical presented by CenterStage Theatre Company! Come join us to watch the thrilling story of Tarzan unravel, broadway style!

    Based on Disney's epic animated musical adventure and Edgar Rice Burrough's Tarzan of the Apes, Tarzan features heart-pumping music by rock legend, Phil Collins, and a book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang. High-flying excitement and hits, like the Academy Award winning "You'll Be in My Heart," as well as "Son of Man" and "Two Worlds," make Tarzan an unforgettable theatrical experience.

  • On-line Registration

    Registration for new families to Westminster Public Schools is now open. Visit the on-line registration information page here.

    Registration for existing families in WPS will open on January 30. You will need your parent portal user ID and password to register your students (new and returning) for the 2016-2017 school year. Parents will receive their parent portal information at Parent-Teacher conferences February 1, 2, & 3.

    PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION

    Please visit the ECE web-page for preschool registration information. For the half-day program, please be sure to select Hodgkins as your school choice on the student portion of the application. For the full-day preschool lottery, available to 4 year olds only, please be sure to select the full-day preschool lottery as your school choice in the application.

     

    Computer kiosks are available at the school for your convenience in registering if needed.

    Creative Arts Pipeline

    Westminster Public Schools will be hosting parent focus groups meetings to elicit parent ideas, opinions, and interest about the pipeline.

     

    Parent Focus Group Meetings:

    - Tuesday, January 17 at 6:30pm at Westminster High School

    - Thursday, January 19 at 6:30pm at Ranum Middle School

    Springboard

     

    We are proud to have developed a relationship with Springboard.  Springboard is an outside agency that uses research based curriculum and strategies to support students during before and after school child care.  The curriculum used by Springboard incorporates leadership, social skills, sports and games, literacy development and engaging electives with fun, as the main ingredient.

    There are also payment plans that work with your family's budget!
