  • Enrollment Information Night
    HLHS will host open Enrollment Information Nights on August 2 and 9, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Media Center for Fall 2017 enrollment.  Families interested in enrolling a student in HLHS please feel welcome to attend the informational night.  We request that at least one parent or guardian attend with student, and bring a transcript if  your last school of record was outside Westminster Public Schools.  We look forward to seeing you.

  • Glenwood Spring Experiential Learning Trip

    A group of HLHS students and teachers shared an adventure, boarding an Amtrak train at Union Station to Glenwood Springs on April 15 for an overnight trip.  While there, the group took a self-guided walking tour of Glenwood, swam in the famed Hot Springs and enjoyed meals together.

  • STEM/Student Council Easter Egg Hunt

    HLHS Studet Council members had a blast hiding Easter eggs for some STEM Elementary school students.  A beautiful Friday afternoon, a lot of laughs, and some great new friendships...

  • College and Technical Training Intro Day 

    On April 26 at Hidden Lake Media Center on the second floor, Hidden Lake High School will be hosting a community discussion around higher education, technical training and being undocumented in college.   Emily Griffith Technical School , Community College of Denver, Metro State University, Colorado Builds, and Dreamers United will all be present to give a small presentation followed by  a small group session to go in deeper about what they can provide for our student population. We will be serving pizza for lunch. So please RSVP before you come and let us know if you will need any child care. This will be mandatory for our students but would love to have parent support as well. There will be a translator available if needed. Please come and learn about some opportunities that your child will have after high school. 


    El 26 de abril, en el centro de media en el del segundo piso en la Escuela Preparatoria Hidden Lake tendremos un panel de discusión para aprender más de la educación superior, educación para trabajos técnicos y ser indocumentados en la universidad. La Escuela Técnica Emily Griffith, el Colegio Comunitario de Denver, la Universidad Estatal Metro, Colorado Builds y Dreamers United estarán presentes para dar una pequeña presentación seguida de una pequeña sesión de grupo para profundizar en lo que pueden ofrecer a nuestra población estudiantil. Vamos a servir pizza. Así que por favor RSVP antes de venir y háganos saber si usted necesitará cuidado para niños pequeños.  Esto será obligatorio para nuestros estudiantes, pero también nos encantaría tener apoyo de los padres. Habrá un intérprete disponible, si es necesario. Por favor venga y aprenda acerca de algunas oportunidades que su hijo tendrá después de la escuela preparatoria.

  • PSAT and ACT Testing

    PSAT and SAT testing for 10th and 11th grade students will be on April 11, 2017.   The PSAT is a mandatory state assessment for all 10th grade students and the SAT is the mandatory state assessment for all 11th grade students, including those students who take online classes (both on site and off-site).

    These tests will be given on April 11th from 8:15 until approximately 1:00.   Students who are 9th and 12th graders, and those repeating their senior year will NOT have classes on April 11th, 2017.

  • College Application Workshops

    The HLHS Counseling Department is hosting college application workshops on March 9, 13, 16, 20 and 23 at 1:30 PM.  Mrs. Snyder and Mrs. Rimmey will be available to assist college-bound seniors in completing online applications to the college(s) of their choice.  See the Counseling Department for details.

  • Cap & Gown Photos for Graduating Seniors

    HLHS has arranged for a professional photography studio to be at the school on April 7 to take Senior Photos at no cost to the student!  Seniors will be able to take a cap and gown photo and receive a photo packet, courtesy of the school. If student would like to do casual photos, they can also order those at a small cost.  Mark your calendars - April 7!

  • Denver Experiential Learning Trip

    Teacher Zoe Driver took six students on a trip to Denver, traveling by light rail to Union Station.  The focus of the trip was "truth. memory and uncertainty" to supplement the unit on true crime.

  • Student Infinite Campus (IC) Access

    As we approach the start of the third trimester beginning on February 21, students will be able to view their new schedule using Infinite Campus Portal.  Please log in to the District website, click on "Online Apps", then "Infinite Campus Portal - Parent".  The student ID # is the username, and password is first initial last initial and birthdate as MMDDYY.  "View Schedule" is in the left column.  Please be sure you have access prior to 2/21.  If you do not have access, please see Main Office.

  • Senior Meeting Jan. 25, 2017

    Tomorrow, January 25 at 10:15 a.m., Josten's will be here to take orders for graduation supplies.  Students should be prepared with a completed order form, and payment in full or $60.00, whichever is less.  Payment can be in the form of cash, check, or credit or debit card.
