Monday is your chance to catch up with old friends and wish retirees well as they move on to life after District 50.
Retiring staff from District 50 will be honored Monday, May 12 at a Retirement Tea at the Westminster Recreation Center. This year, close to 30 employees have told the District’s Human Resources Department that they are retiring at the end of the school year or accepting a 110 contract that will allow them to work limited hours next year and then fully retire.
Combined, the retirees have more than 670 years with the District averaging 24 years per employee. They represent an enormous amount of wisdom and experience.
It’s always a special opportunity to say goodbye and thank you to retiring workers who have devoted their lives to helping educate children.
The Retirement Tea runs from 3:30 to 5:30 at the Recreation Center located at 104th and Sheridan.
We look forward to seeing you!
