By the end of the morning Fairview Elementary School student Jessica Gallegos had three holes in one at Adventure Golf; three aces and a lot of memories.
“It was a lot of fun,” she said with a big smile.
Jessica and her classmates were the invited guests this year for the Hyland Hills Foundation’s annual “Putts for a Purpose” event which provides students along with their family members a morning of golf, food and a raffle for ten bicycles. The Foundation has hosted the event for almost 20 years now.
“Putts for a Purpose” is one of the signature events for the Foundation which provides opportunities for children in the community, many of whom might not have the financial resources to bring the entire family to a world class miniature golf facility.
