I'm currently one of the CLDE teachers at Skyline Vista.  I work with kinder to level 5 students who have two languages or those with other language influences in the home.

My Background:  In 1998 I leapt into the world of education as a fifth grade teacher in Baltimore City Schools.  After a couple of years in Maryland, I headed to Melbourne, Australia where I taught first grade for four years.  I made the move to Colorado in 2004 and have been here at Skyline Vista since then. 

During my time at Skyline, I've taught a variety of grade levels.  After completing a Masters degree in Special Education/Culturally Linguistically Diverse Education I moved out of the classroom and into the world of language learners. I've been in my current position since 2009.

I'm fortunate to be able to work with Skyline's diverse population, guiding kids in their  reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
