    About Mr. Capra

    I was born and raised in Westminster Public Schools.  I am a 1987 graduate of Iver C. Ranum High School.  It was there that I developed my interest in becoming a teacher.  I attended Adams State University and graduated with a degree in History and Government.  I then attended Metropolitan State University to obtain my teaching license.  I have taught at Shaw Heights for 21 great years.  Over the past few years I have gained interest in running and have completed three marathons.

    My Why 

    I became passionate about education in high school.  I wanted to help students realize their dreams and passions. Education has been a lifelong experience for me and I want to help students realize how and why education should be a lifelong experience for them as well.
