The Power, Structural and Technical Systems (PSTS) pathway is a new offering beginning in 2018-19. Courses will be offered on a 3-year rotation based on student enrollment.
Are you interested in welding, working on small engines, working outdoors? Have you considered a job in Power, Structural and Technology?
The PSTS pathway in the agriculture program may be of interest to you. Our students learn all about metal fabrication, engine and power systems, energy, electrical, and irrigation systems. Students love to work in our shop while they learn about power, structural and technology systems.
- Intro to Urban Agriculture and Mechanics (pre-requisite to all other PSTS courses; will be offered every year)
- Ag Mechanics
- Ag Fabrication
- Irrigation Tech
- Energy Systems
The pathway offers multiple opportunities for college credit and industry credentials. Your instructor will review these opportunities at the beginning of the course.
PSTS Student Organization - FFA
- All students in PSTS classes have the opportunity to join FFA. Student organizations help students provide training and realistic learning experiences to prepare students for employment in careers, develop leadership skills, and more. If you are interested, ask Ms. Crabtree or Mr. Naeger how you can be involved.
