  • kid on a computer smiling Your child will also complete a readiness benchmark in both English Language Arts and math. A few examples of a readiness benchmark include:

    1. An SAT score of 470 in English Language Arts and 500 in math. The SAT is a test that is required for admission to college, and every WPS student takes it.
    2. A passing grade in a concurrent enrollment class, which is a FREE college class that your child may take while still in high school
    3. An Advanced Placement (AP) test score of 2 or higher or an International Baccalaureate (IB) test score of 4 or higher. AP and IB classes are rigorous and can earn students FREE college credit while still in high school.
