Free Breakfast

  • Breakfast is offered to all WPS students, completely free of charge. Breakfast is served in classrooms at the start of each day.

Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

  • Through our fresh fruit and vegetable program, WPS elementary schools receive an afternoon snack of a fresh fruit or vegetable. Fruits and vegetables are rotated throughout the year, and provide new and fun choices to boost students’ exposure to fresh food. Monthly educational material, including fun facts about the fruits and vegetables are also provided.

School Lunch

  • Lunch offers a variety of choices at all schools in WPS. We are proud to serve whole grain deli sandwich rolls and pizza crust, and plan to offer more whole grain products as we source them. Every school has a salad bar with a rotating menu of a variety of fruits and vegetables, including legumes, dark green and red/orange vegetables that are sourced locally as available.

Afterschool Snack

  • After school activities operated in WPS may qualify for free snacks. The snacks are served free of charge to all students participating in the after school activities.

Summer Meals

  • Every summer after the regular school session is out, Culinary Services sponsors FREE breakfast and lunch to any child one to 18 years old. Adults can purchase a meal for $3.50 each. The program is operated at seven schools and locations throughout the community.

The school sites were selected to best meet the nutritional needs of all children and each and every child is welcome! To participate, children simply need to attend one of the participating Summer Meal Programs at the sites listed below. Families do not need to fill out any forms to qualify. Note: All programs will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day. See the details below for dates and times of service:
