Metropolitan Arts Academy currently serves 341 students in Preschool through sixth grade. 155 of these students or 44% are classified as English Language Learners. 35 students or 10% are currently on an IEP. The school is 78% free and reduced lunch student with Title 1 support. The funding from Title 1 provides students with a free breakfast after the bell and a free lunch. The school has also been awarded a grant to fund an afternoon snack program. The school has 178 male students and 163 female students. The school is 88% Hispanic, 1% Indian, 1% Black, 3% Asian and 7% Caucasian.
