Anytime Anywhere Learning
This is Janelle Stastny, principal at Mesa Elementary. I hope you are all well and continue to take extraordinary precautions to keep healthy.
Mesa will continue to provide a rich education to students through online Learning. Online learning is not optional for students, but instead, the way in which we are able to continue education and learning during these uncertain times.
- Families: Please look in Empower and work with your child to make sure assignments are completed and that they are participating in Zoom meetings with their teacher. If you have any questions, please email your child’s teacher or myself. We will be taking attendance by looking at the work completed using Empower. If you need assistance with Empower, please click here: Parent Hot Link. For assistance with the Chrome books please call the Chromebook Support Hotline at 720-542-5213
Students: I will need you to participate in class work using your Chrome book from Mesa or a computer at home. Your teachers will be meeting with you using Zoom where you will see and hear the teacher and the friends in your class. Look for daily assignments in Empower and Dojo. Teachers will provide instruction, you will do work together and you will have assignments to complete on your own. Just like you did when you were at Mesa! Look for information from your teachers in your school email. Please work hard on completing assignments to help you move up to the next level.
Please know that during these times, there is no expectation of perfect. The Mesa staff has worked to give you necessary resources to help continue with normal learning activities. We hope that you and your child will work with us to continue learning!
Parents: please call the school at 303-428-2891 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to pick up your child’s Chromebook. All of the staff is working from home now but a few of us will go to Mesa Monday, March 30 from 10:30 to 1:30 so you can get the Chromebook. If you are unable to pick up a device during this time, and need a device for your student, please call 303-428-2981 and leave a message including a day and time you will be able to pick up your child’s electronic device. Remember, online learning is not optional for students, but instead, the way in which we are able to continue education and learning during these uncertain times.
No WI-FI? No problem!
