8th Graders, Community Invited to WHS Open House The Wolves of the future, their parents and community members interested in learning more about Westminster High School have a unique opportunity Monday to visit the school and see first-hand what it has to offer.
The first ever “8th Grade and Community Showcase” is scheduled for Monday, April 9 from 5 p.m. to 7p.m. at the lake side courtyard. The Parent Athletic/Activity Committee (P.A.A.C.) and Building Advisory/Accountability Committee (B.A.A.C.) will be serving dinner.
The showcase is an opportunity for current students, teachers and administrators to talk with the community about the school and tell guests what makes WHS so special. Visitors are also invited to tour the building and see the state-of-the-art athletic and theater arts complexes.
“We can't wait to see the whites of their eyes and we look forward to breaking bread with them at the showcase and giving them a glimpse of our points of pride,” said Principal Michael Lynch.Lynch and his staff are also making personal visits to the district’s middle schools as well as Crown Pointe Academy. “We want students and their families to know about the amazing opportunities available at Westy,” said Lynch.
