D50 Students Head Back to Class
After a summer full of fun and family, about 10,000 District 50 students returned to the classroom this week for the start of the 2013-14 school year. They were met by enthusiastic staff members who were eager to get back to the job of education.
One of the highlights was the opening of District 50’s new innovation school, Colorado STEM Academy.
In addition to the warm greetings and a chance to reconnect with friends, each family received a brochure from the District that includes a message from Superintendent Pamela Swanson. It also lists key web sites addresses that families might need through the course of the year.
