STEM Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Technology
It was not your normal ribbon cutting ceremony at the dedication this month of Colorado STEM Academy (CSA), but then, it’s not your normal school either.
Instead of using traditional ribbon and scissors to mark the occasion, Principal Anthony Matthews offered a creative, technology-based way to officially open the school. You can watch the video to see what we mean.
CSA is District 50’s first innovation school and offers a rigorous curriculum focused on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. The school was created by the Board of Education, which was interested in providing more educational options for families.
Before filling the gymnasium for the official ceremony, parents toured the building to see first-hand what their children are learning at CSA.
