    D50 Insider

Welcome Back to this week’s edition of the D50 Insider.

Colorado STEM Academy found a unique way to introduce itself to the community during its official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony earlier this month. Watch the video to see why people in the front row were wearing safety classes for part of the event.

Students at some District 50 elementary schools are improving their soccer and reading skills thanks to some help from the Colorado Rapids. We have the story.

We’ll also tell you why students at Tennyson Knolls were delivering “thank you” cards to the Board of Education and the work crews who made their school days a little cooler.

Friday night offers a chance to see a performance by a unique musical group that is raising money for a great cause.

Our rainy weather let up long enough for the Annual Putts for a Purpose event at Hyland Hills. Watch the video to see the joy it brought to so many students.

The Westminster High School Air Force JROTC made the community proud at this week’s Colorado Rockies game. We’ll take you to Coors Field.

The Insider has all the details about next Saturday’s busy homecoming days. It includes a parade and two football games.

And if you didn’t have a chance to “Run With the Wolves”, you have a second chance. The heavy rains forced organizers to reschedule the 5k for Saturday, October 12.

As always, check out the program listing for D50 TV this week, as well as the District's calendar of events.

    Thanks for reading.
