• High School Musical on Stage at WHS

The drama of high school, both figuratively and literally comes to the stage in Westminster High School’s Centerstage Theatre Company presentation of Disney’s ”High School Musical.”

The story focuses on two high school students from differing backgrounds who try out for lead parts in their high school musical. The two are forced to resist peer pressure and follow their dreams. Some have compared it to a high school version of Romeo and Juliet set in the world of musical theater.

Actors Faith Ramos and Chris Salguero play the lead roles in the musical. Click here to see them discuss the play along with director Andre Rodriguez.

The play, which is an adaptation of the Disney’s movie by the same name, opened Wednesday night at the Westminster High Theater. It continues through Saturday with performances at 7:00 p.m.
