• ‘Under a Neon Moon’ is the WHS Homecoming Theme

A weekend full of football, floats and formal wear is just around the corner as Westminster High School makes final preparations for this year’s homecoming weekend.

“Under a Neon Moon” has been chosen as the theme for this year’s events.

The festivities begin on Wednesday, September 17th at District 50 Memorial Stadium with the Annual Powder Puff Football Game between high school senior and junior girls. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.

The homecoming game against Thornton High School is Friday night at the stadium, also with a 7:00 p.m. start.

The annual parade is September 20th at 10:00 a.m. The route runs from the Westminster High School parking lot to Lowell Blvd and then goes north to 76th avenue before turning west to Bradburn Blvd. and then back to the high school.

The parade will be followed at 1:00 p.m. with the Ranum/Westminster Alumni Flag Football Game at Memorial Stadium.

Registration for the parade is now underway and you can find a registration form here.

The busy weekend comes to a close Saturday night with the WHS Homecoming Dance.
