    D50 Insider

Welcome to this week's edition of the D50 Insider!

It’s a week that many high school students will remember for the rest of their lives.

This is Homecoming Week and the Insider will bring you up to date on all the activities during the week and has details about the Friday night homecoming football game and the Saturday morning parade.

The annual Putts for a Purpose event at Adventure Golf is the focus of this week’s Insider video. Cameras were rolling as students from Fairview Elementary benefited from the generosity of the Hyland Hills Foundation.

Speaking of generosity, students now have some badly needed school supplies and we will tell you who donated them.

Superintendent Pam Swanson delivered the keynote address at this year’s Butterfly Pavilion Gala Dinner. She spoke about our partnership with the Pavilion and the value of “hands on learning.”

This is “Constitution Week” and you are being challenged to answer some questions and receive a prize. It was 227 years ago this month that it was finalized.

And if you love pancakes, we will tell you about an all you can eat event on September 27. It’s being held in conjunction with the Annual Orchard Festival in the Historic Westminster Arts District.

As always, check out the entire program listing for D50 TV this week, as well as the District’s Calendar of Events.

    Thanks for reading,
    Steve Saunders
