Adventure Golf Lights up the Holidays
Whoever thought winter weather and golf don’t mix is in for a very pleasant surprise.
This year Adventure Golf at Hyland Hills is unveiling Adventure Golf Lights; an ideal way to celebrate the holiday season, view spectacular light displays and play a little putt-putt golf. In fact, if you pick the right night, Santa Claus will even be on hand.
“Adventure Golf’s amazing structures and beautiful natural pathways will literally jump out of the darkness with hundreds of thousands of brilliant colored lights and surprises,” said Adventure Golf’s spokesperson Joann Cortez.
The miniature course, considered one of the best in the region, is generally closed during the winter season as staff takes a break and prepares for the new season in the spring. Instead, this year, the entire staff has jumped in to the effort to give families another way to celebrate the holiday season.
“Our hope is that the holiday extravaganza will bring joy to all who visit,” said Cortez.
The light extravaganza runs November 28 through January 3 from 5:30-9:00 p.m.
Note: there is an extra charge for the miniature golf. Refreshments including hot chocolate, beer and wine will also be available.
