• ‘Celebrating Academic Excellence’ Moved to March 7

Because of heavy snow and cold temperatures, last weekend’s Celebrating Academic Excellence event has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 7th at Hodgkins Elementary School. Except for the change of date, the schedule for the day will remain the same.

The annual event celebrates the academic skills of elementary and middle school students across the District. The students have been competing in their own buildings since the beginning of the year from the right to compete at the District level. Winners at the District event can then compete at the state level.

In addition to the annual Spelling Bee, there is the Science Fair, National Geographic Bee, Math Counts, Firsts Lego League and Math Counts.

Because of the cancellation, some scheduled volunteers will be unable to help so please contact Pam Keel at pkeel@adams50.org if you would like to volunteer.
