‘Talking Topics’ Examines STEM Education at WHS
The student produced interview program “Talking Topics” takes an in-depth look at Westminster High School’s STEM program and Project Lead the Way classes that give students an opportunity to pursue higher levels of learning in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
A STEM education is in high demand these days because experts predict the most in demand, high paying jobs of the futures will go to students who have a background in STEM education.
The program provides valuable insight into 21st century learning and the state of the art resources available at Westminster High School. The show offers a perspective from both high school students and two teachers who play an important role in Westy’s STEM education.
“Talking Topics” runs about 20 minutes and is time well spent for anyone who is curious about a STEM education. The Insider also has a short trailer that gives an overview of the program.
