Behavior:
I use Class Dojo to help manage behaviors. Throughout the day, students can earn or lose points for behaviors and actions. If parents have connected to my class Dojo account, they will see how their child is doing throughout the day. Any student who has earned eight or more points at the end of the day will earn $20.00 in class dollars that can be spent at Mrs. McDaniel's Market each Friday.
Homework:
Students will have nightly reading homework. They are expected to read a minimum of thirty minutes per night and get their reading calendars initialed by an adult. At the end of each week, students and parents will total the number of minutes read. Students who meet our class goal of 2,000 minutes per semester will be able to participate in a special event determined by Mr. Vadeen. Reading calendars will be collected at the end of each month.
