• Class of 2015 Ready to Graduate

In the days ahead, more than 500 students from Westminster and Hidden Lake High School’s will receive their diplomas and walk into the next chapter in their lives.

Westminster High School Seniors will graduate Friday, May 15th at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield while, Hidden Lake High School students will receive their diplomas Wednesday, May 27th at Ranum Middle School.

Before they become official graduates, there are still some memories to be made.

Thursday May 14th is the annual Westminster High School Senior Awards event. It begins at 6:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Scholarships will be announced and students will be honored for academic excellence.

In an unconventional move, all the students from Hidden Lake High School have been invited to the Denver Zoo on May 19th to celebrate the end of the school year. The visit is supported by a Wellness Grant that focuses on student and community bonding outside of the classroom.

So just what does the future hold? You can find out what Westy Seniors are thinking in a Special Edition of the school newspaper. It’s filled with student profiles and personal reflections from many of WHS’ proud graduates. They also offer words of advice to the next class of graduates. It’s definitely worth a read.
