• Defense Shines, Wolves Remain Undefeated

A stingy Westminster Wolves defense held their opponents to just one touchdown while the offense came up with just enough points to win the game and move the Wolves record to 6-0. They sit alone atop the Flatirons Conference.

Friday night’s 14 to 6 victory over Prairie View was a different kind of win for the team. For most of the season the Wolves have run up big scores and except for the win over East High School, the team has cruised to victory. That was not the case Friday on the road. The game went down to the final possession.

Next up for the Wolves is the Far Northeast Warriors in a road game Saturday afternoon  and then two home games to finish out the season before the start of the state playoffs.

Friday, October 23 is homecoming against Northglenn and then the season finale against Boulder on Friday, October 30.

More pictures of the game can be viewed here at the CHSSA website.
