Voting Continues in Board of Education Race
A reminder that voting is underway in the 2015 fall election.
Among the races to be decided, the makeup of the District 50 Board of Education is in the voters’ hands. Three at-large seats are up for grabs with four candidates competing for your votes. Incumbents Larry Dean (Dino) Valente and Ken Ciancio are running along with Paola Urgiles and Max Math.
Board of Education President Ruben Pacheco withdrew from the race earlier this month, but because his decision came after the ballots had already been printed, his name will still be on the ballot. According to the Adams County Clerk and Recorder, votes for Mr. Pacheco will not be counted.
Ballots have already been mailed to registered voters this week, but voters are reminded they can still register up to Election Day and vote in person at one of six Vote Centers in Adams County.
