There is a lot to celebrate this month of December and the Insider has it covered.
Monday night the Westminster City Council honored the Westminster High School Football team for its standout season. The team went undefeated in the regular season bringing recognition and pride to Westminster High School.
Steve Sandoval, Executive Director of Student Services for District 50, has been recognized as a national “Leader to Learn From.” We have details about his award.
As you may know, Colorado STEM Academy is expanding next year to include kindergarten, first and second grade students. A new video explains why kids are never too young to embrace a STEM education.
Results are out from the first round of the controversial PARCC tests taken last spring. We have details.
Two students in Africa will be able to continue their education because of the generosity of the District 50 community. Hodgkins Elementary held a huge garage sale this weekend with the help of noted cartoonist Drew Litton.
Our two FRED award winners have a special place in the hearts of our students. We will introduce them to you.
The GRAMMY Foundation has given Westminster High School special recognition and $2,000 for its music program. We’ll tell you why.
And speaking of music, our talented students helped to light the City of Westminster Christmas tree.
