• Joanna Ramsey Theatre to be Unveiled March 15th

Tuesday, March 15th has been picked as the night to honor longtime theatre teacher Joanna Ramsey with the naming of the Westminster High School Theatre in her honor.

Ramsey The event coincides with the Centerstage Theatre Company’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” The opening night for the play is Wednesday, March 16th.

In December, the Board of Education unanimously approved a plan to name the theatre after Ramsey and name the greenhouse after longtime horticulture teacher Phil Love.

The greenhouse dedication will take place on Friday, April 22nd.

Ramsey taught theatre and drama for 37 years, most of them at Westminster High School. Among the many honors given to Ramsey was her induction into the Colorado Thespians Hall of Fame in 2012.
