• Class of 2020 Visits Westminster High School

    Welcome to the Wolf Den!

Eighth grade students and their parents got a first person look at what it’s like to be a Westminster High School Wolf last month during the Annual Eighth Grade Showcase.

As they quickly learned, there is something for everyone.

The showcase exposes potential students to the variety of academic, athletic, artistic and social clubs that are available at the high school.

“The showcase is so successful because our students and staff truly believe in the school and the programs they are talking about,” said Principal Kiffany Kiewiet. “It’s clear to anyone who walks through the door that WHS is a welcoming environment and we are committed to all children succeeding.”

While every group made a strong impression on the visiting families, a panel of judges handed out awards to what they viewed as the “best” information tables.

1st Place-Literacy and English Language Acquisition

    2nd Place-IB (International Baccalaureate) Visual/Performing Arts

3rd Place-Social Studies and PLTW (Project Lead the Way)

    Congratulations to all!
