    Westminster Public Schools has the stamp of approval from one of the most distinguished education accreditation organizations in the world. We will tell you what AdvancED has to say about the District and how we can get even better.

    The Board of Education wants to hear from you. A new community survey is now out and you can weigh in on a number of issues, including potential bond or mill levy elections.

    Terri Hutchinson is profiled as one of our Westminster Elks Teacher of the year. She is making a difference in her students’ lives.

    Speaking of making a difference. Eric Hodges has been doing that in WPS for 32 years and he was recently honored by a statewide organization.

    Karl Mecklenburg provided an inspiring message at the Westminster Public Schools Foundation Annual Breakfast. We will share some of his speech with you.

    “MEDIC!” makes its debut on Friday, May 20th at Westminster High School. We have a preview of this exciting collaboration between Westy film students and Congressman Ed Perlmutter.

    As promised in the last Insider, we have more highlights from the sensational Westy Idol event last month. We hope you enjoy them.

    And as you know, this is a busy time of year. We have reminders about graduations and the annual Retirement Celebration, which is coming up next week.
