Hello! My name is Denise Zapata Clements and I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I grew up in a bilingual bicultural household and went to college in Vermont when I first moved to the U.S. Vermont was lovely, but too cold and gray for me, so I ended up in beautiful sunny Colorado. I love to hike, walk, exercise, read, travel, and spend time with my husband and family. My work experience at schools includes working with elementary-aged kids (two years) and high schoolers (six years). I love connecting with families and working with the community and staff to support families in supporting their students' success at school. My role is to support and inform families so that their students can reach their future goals.
