  • Through our community partnerships, there are a wide variety of community opportunities that we recommend that our students get involved in. These opportunities can help students explore careers, participate on college campuses, and earn valuable experience as they prepare for life after high school.   • Latinas First Foundation Networking and Mentorship Program

    • Saturday, February 23rd from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
    • Free program for Latinas to meet with potential professional mentors and learn key networking skills (including resume building, LinkedIn, business cards, etc.)
    • Students who attend will be eligible for a scholarship

    Denver Museum of Nature and Science Teen Science Scholars

    • June 6 - July 25th
    • Hands on summer internship with the science division of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science
    • Open to students who will be entering junior or senior year in the Fall of 2020
    • Students will earn $1,000 stipend, bus passes, and museum cafeteria vouchers

    • June 12-13, 2020
    • Business networking, leadership skills, and competition for a $1,000 scholarship to CU Boulder's Leeds School of Business

    • June 21-27, 2020
    • Spend a week living on the CU Boulder campus for free and learn real-world business skills; earn a $1,000 scholarship to CU Boulder's Leeds School of Business
    • Open to current juniors and seniors who idnetify as underrepresented, low-income, and/or first-generation
    • Deadline to apply is March 19, 2020

    Rocky Mountain Conservatory High School Leadership Program

    • June 15-26, 2020; July 6-17, 2020; or July 27 – August 7, 2020
    • Immersive 12-day learning project focused on environmental stewardship, outdoor skills and personal leadership
    • Open to incoming or current high schoolers under the age of 18
    • Participants receive a $400 stipend for completing the program
    • Applications are due by April 5, 2020.

    Women in Construction Management Summer Institute

    • June 2-6, 2020
    • Summer program for 15-18 year old girls interested in construction industry careers through Colorado State University
    • Students will have the opportunity to stay for 4-nights in the CSU residence halls with college student mentors
