Remote Learning Expectations for Mrs. Walter’s Class

Remote learning is a team effort, together we can make this successful and fun for all students. I want to share some essential information, so that we can set these amazing kiddos up for success.

    • I have listed what daily events are mandatory for students to be marked present for the day. We have a total of 4 learning hours daily.
    • I will be having a thirty minute Google Meets/Zoom meeting each day that must be done at this time. The other mandatory items must be completed before 10pm that night.
    • Students may have other Google Meets or Zoom Meetings with specials, intervention and CLD teachers. Those will also be mandatory for attendance, and those teachers will be contacting students and parents about expectations.
    • Student attendance will be taken based upon completed assignments and attended class meetings, per the rules of our school board and district.
    •  I will post daily assignments in Empower and Classtag. Most assignments will be posted by 8:00 am. Please check daily. I will let you know as changes occur in the schedule.
    • Some assignments will have multiple parts and all parts must be completed before I will mark the assignment complete.
    • I will also send a weekly progress report to families with missing/incomplete assignments and also completed assignments.
    • I will be available through Classtag, email, and phone messaging (720-542-4381) from 9 AM - 3 PM Monday - Friday. Feel free to contact me at any time and I will get back to you within 24 hours.
