Fairview Elementary has a vision of kindness and service where students are taught to be kinder than they need to and do more than they have to. This vision is evident not only within our school, but in our neighborhood where we are surrounded by great community support. Our student have several opportunities to participate in service projects where they get a chance to give back to their local, state, and world community. At Fairview, parents and community members receive adult education opportunities such as Motheread, Fatheread, health and nutrition lessons, and parenting classes.
Fairview collaborates with organizations such as The Boys & Girls Club to provide students a safe and nurturing after-school program. We are also involved with Camp Chief Ouray where students experience outdoor adventures in a traditional overnight camp, as well as after school extended learning to strengthen literacy and math skills.
