Tennyson Knolls PTO and BAAC - Get Involved
Volunteering for the Tennyson Knolls PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) or BAAC (Building Accountability Advisory Committee) is by no means required, but is a great way to become more involved with your child's school.
The TK BAAC meets in October, December, February, and April - time to be determined. Being a part of BAAC will keep you informed on the school’s achievement growth, curriculum, SBS, and other important issues with academics and safety at our school. All are welcome to come and learn more about the BAAC!
There are several easy ways to get involved in the Tennyson Knolls Preparatory PTO. Attending the meetings will allow you to be involved in planning programs and events, participating in the decision-making process, and it's a great way to meet other active PTO members. Daycare will be provided.
PTO helps to sponsor many exciting activities at TKE. Some of these fun events include:
- Family Math and Literacy Night
- Field Trips
- Fall Fundraiser with Fun Services
- 5th Grade Continuation
- New Parent Meetings
- Registration Activities
- Back-to-School Night
- Parent-Teacher Conferences
- Other School Function
If you have any questions or interest in volunteering, please call any of the PTO/BAAC members, teachers involved or the principal at 303-429-4090.
