Tennyson Knolls PTO and BAAC - Get Involved
Volunteering for the Tennyson Knolls PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) or BAAC (Building Accountability Advisory Committee) is by no means required, but is a great way to become more involved with your child's school.
The TKE BAAC meets in October, December, February, and April - time to be determined. Being a part of BAAC will keep you informed on the school’s achievement growth, curriculum, SBS, and other important issues with academics and safety at our school. All are welcome to come and learn more about the BAAC!
There are several easy ways that you can get involved in the Tennyson Knolls Elementary PTO, too. The best way to start is by attending the monthly meetings, which are the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:00 pm - in the library. Attending the meetings will allow you to be involved in planning programs and events, participating in the decision making process, and it's a great way to meet other active PTO members. Day care will be provided.
PTO helps to sponsor many exciting activities at TKE. Some of these fun events include:
Family Math and Literacy Night
Fall Fundraiser with Fun Services
5th Grade ContinuationNew Parent MeetingsRegistration Activities
Other School Functions
If you have any questions or interest in volunteering, please call any of the PTO/BAAC members, teachers involved or the principal at 303-429-4090.
