This is Mrs. Eicher’s 15th year as a teacher at Tennyson Knolls, and she is excited to be teaching younger sisters, brothers and cousins of some of her very first students. Before she was a teacher, Mrs. Eicher was a reporter for 23 years at The Denver Post, then decided it was time to make a change and be in a job where she could work with children every day. She is a Colorado native. She and her husband live in Lakewood with a sweet basset hound named Lucy. Her 25-year-old daughter, Emily, is the coordinator of school and youth programs at the Clyfford Still Art Museum in downtown Denver. When she isn’t teaching, Mrs. Eicher likes to work in her garden, bake good stuff, root for the Colorado Rockies and do paper crafts.
