This is my 9th year of teaching at Tennyson Knolls Elementary. I am excited to be back working with the students and community of TKE. I love the dedication to technology TKE offers to the students and can’t wait to teach 21st century skills needed to succeed. I am also an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Westminster High School. I love teaching the game of baseball and enjoy seeing former students out on the field.
I attended the University of Northern Colorado, Center for Urban Education as I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in English. I had the opportunity to be a paraprofessional working with elementary students and attend classes throughout the 4 year program. I am currently taking classes through Regis University to complete a master’s degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I am excited to finish in the summer of 2018 so I can continue to support the learning of all my students in my classroom.
I am a Colorado Native and was born in Craig. Shortly after I was born my family moved to Longmont, CO where I lived through high school. In college I moved to Denver and met my wife, Christine. We recently got married and are enjoying exploring Colorado together. We enjoy going to Broncos and Rockies games. I am also a huge Duke Basketball fan and never miss watching a game. I also enjoy playing golf with Mr. Pischke during the summer, while I am not teaching outdoor education at Thorne Nature Experience in Waterton Canyon.
I enjoy the excitement of the school year and can’t wait to help my students grow!
