My name is Carli Yameen and this is my sixth year at Colorado STEM Academy. I teach Intervention and  primary Technology. I love helping students learn to read, challenge themselves and think creatively! I have over 14 years experience teaching a variety of ages and subjects including first grade, third grade, reading, technology and English as a Second Language. I have my Bachelors and Masters from the University of Colorado Denver and am currently earning my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. I love helping students to reach their full potential. 

I am originally from Colorado and my husband and I recently celebrated the birth of our baby girl. We enjoy spending time as a family, cooking, hiking, traveling, gardening and reading. We have  traveled to several parts of the world including Europe, Central America, South America, Canada and the Middle East! I am bilingual and speak Spanish and English. Between my husband and I we speak 4 languages.
