June 23rd - D50 Insider Welcome back to this week’s edition of the D50 Insider!A change in a key leadership position is the big news this week in Adams County School District 50. Vicky Marshall stepped down as president of the Board of Education to allow for a smooth transition as the district prepares for new school board elections this fall. Dr. Marilyn Flachman was voted in as new president. Read the details here.Members of the Westminster community turned out Wednesday night to hear from the three finalists for job as Westminster High School principal. Kurt Dennis, Alan Kaylor and Michael Lynch all made a strong impression. You can watch the entire forum and read the story here.We have a report on a special honor for staffers at Westminster Elementary School as they are recognized for their hard work in dealing with special needs students.Actors from Westminster High School took to the stage this spring for a special performance called the Romero Project.
