Join us Nov. 2 and 3 at 7 p.m., and again on Nov. 4 at 2 and 7 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre to celebrate our ancestors and the Day of the Dead through a devised performance.
An ensemble of 15 students has been interviewing family members, friends and community elders, learning about ancestors, rituals, and memories local to our Westminster community. After bi-lingually transcribing these interviews (in English and Spanish), the ensemble will collaborate to create an original performance that draws from personal and communal histories. It's a performance practice that connects our past, present and future through movement, music, text and imagery.
Check back soon for tickets to no escrito (unwritten) in the WHS Black Box Theater.
