• Full Time Early Learning Classroom Information (Kindergarten) 

    Full Time Early Learning Classrooms (Kindergarten) provide children with opportunities to work, play, learn to share, accept, and respect individual differences,  They learn to  to express themselves and develop physical  coordination and begin to work with language and general readiness for first grade.  Adams County District 50 Westminster Public Schools will continue to provide a full day program at each school.  Children must be five years old by October 1 to enroll.  
    All elementary schools in Westminster Public Schools
    offer free full day kindergarten.  
     All students interested in full day kindergarten will be asked to complete the Westminster Public Schools Full Day Kindergarten scholarship application along with the corresponding registration materials (included in packet).
    Children must be 5 years old by October 1 of their kindergarten year to qualify for registration. 
    We are now offering online registrations! Please click on the green link below to register. Please note that your application is not complete simply by applying online: you must bring the necessary paperwork to the school and receive confirmation that you are registered
    ** If you have, or had, any other children attend at school within Westminster Public Schools, please contact your school or 720-542-5093 to receive your parent portal information for online registration.
    At school  Please visit your local school (nearest your house) to register. Computers will be available at the school or you may pick up a paper copy.

    Please register your child at Sherrelwood Elementary, you may choice into Sherrelwood if you aren't in the area boundary.

     (If physical or immunizations are faxed we must receive them before the registration packet can be accepted.)

    All new students will be assessed with a screening that has been developed by District staff.   The assessment will take about a 1/2 hour per student to administer and provides information about academic readiness in the areas of development literacy and mathematics.  It will be administered in English.  When you register in August someone will call you to schedule an assessment time with your child.
