Parent & Family Involvement
-
You are your child's first and most important teacher.
Westminster Public Schools (WPS) recognizes that families are the child's first and most influential teachers. All of our families are diverse in culture, language and needs. They share the school's commitment to the educational success of their children. A child's education is shared by the school, family and community during the entire period the child spends in school.
Reading to children, serving as guest speakers, assisting with PTA and on school-based improvement committees are a few of the many volunteer opportunities that await parents in WPS. With 20 schools and several service facilities, WPS appreciates the valuable time parents donate to building brighter futures for our students.
Check out the resources on this page to help your student succeed in the classroom. Families are encouraged to contact their child's teachers and school office for more information and partner opportunities.
