Note from Superintendent Swanson: May 24, 2019

Dear Westminster Community,

Excited about the future, proud of the past!

That pretty much sums up my feelings as the 2018-19 school year comes to a close in Westminster Public Schools. I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break and recharges their battery for the coming school year.

It’s important to remember that learning doesn’t stop when the school buildings close for the summer.

Parents in particular: I hope you find the right balance between giving your children a break from school, while also expanding their minds and understanding of the world around them. We have some tips to help you do just that this summer.

My end of year video tries to capture that sense of accomplishment we all experienced this past year and let you know about our plans for the future.

I hope you will take the time to watch.

Kindest regards,

Dr. Pamela Swanson

Superintendent of Schools
