COVID-19 Infectious Illness Preparedness and Response Plan

With the help of early preparation and a robust public information campaign, Westminster Public Schools is doing all it can to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) with the community.

Superintendent Dr. Pamela Swanson shared the plans in a detailed presentation during Tuesday night’s Board of Education meeting. You can see the report, in its entirety, below. 

The superintendent’s report came on the same day Governor Jared Polis declared a State of Emergency in Colorado.

“This remains a very fluid situation and we will be in continual communication with our families and staff as necessary, said Swanson.“ Plans are constantly evolving as we try to find the proper balance between health and safety, risk management and the educational needs of our community.”
