The breakfast, built around the theme of superheroes raised money to support the WPS Foundation and its programs.
The Foundation has three primary focus areas: - Post-secondary Success Initiative (formally known as the scholarship program) - Benevolent Fund - District Initiatives
Denver County Judge Theresa Spahn, a WPS graduate, delivered an emotional keynote speech recalling that she was an unfocused child and not a particularly good student. She said that because people believed in her potential she eventually began to believe in herself.
