WPS Summer Food Program Offers Multiple Sites

After providing almost half a million meals for Westminster Public School (WPS) families during the closure of schools because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the district is now transitioning to its summer daily meal program while continuing to provide support for families in need.

Six sites have been selected for Monday-Friday lunchtime service while other sites will offer a ”Bus Stop” service on Tuesday and Thursday. The “Bus Stop” service is for families who do not have transportation to get to the traditional sites.

The district is also working with the WPS Foundation to distribute 1500 Food Bank Boxes a week so families have food supplies to take home.

Details about the program will be released when available.
