WPS COVID-19 Dashboard now Online

WPS Covid-19 Dashboard

Westminster Public Schools families, staff and community members can now see at a glance the number of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 and the number of people quarantined to prevent the spread of the virus.

The WPS COVID-19 Dashboard was unveiled before the Board of Education at last week’s meeting and is now live on the WPS webpage. It is automatically updated to reflect current information as it is processed by individual schools and the district’s Human Resources Department.

“I am so proud of our effort to get this dashboard up and running in a timely manner,” said Superintendent Dr. Pamela Swanson. “It’s clear, concise and it was really a collaborative process between many different departments in the district. We made this a priority and were able to make it available very quickly.”

The dashboard has two pages.

The first page shows the current and total number of COVID-19 positive cases for both students and staff. It also shows viewers the current number of staff and students quarantined, meaning they were in proximity to someone who tested positive.

This page puts the current numbers is context by providing a percentage number reflecting the number of positive and quarantine cases in relation to the entire population. It also shares a link to prior communications to families from the district and school principals.

The second page shows a breakdown of the number by individual schools and departments.

The Tri-County Health Department also has a detailed page that allows visitors to see breakdowns by neighborhoods, age, dates and more.
