School Year Opens With Much To Celebrate

COVID-19 masks may have covered the smiles on students’ faces as they returned to school on August 17, but underneath they were there.

The 2021-22 school year opened last week with an emphasis on safety in hopes that a combined effort will slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus and allow Westminster Public Schools to return to normal learning opportunities as quickly as possible.

In addition to the opening of a new school, the district has two new principals.

Lindsay Lohman is the new leader at Colorado Sports Leadership Academy and Molly Mojden has been named principal at Tennyson Knolls Preparatory Schools. The next issue of What’s Up WPS will introduce you to these two talented educators.
