Homecoming Parade Shows Community Spirit

Many are calling it the best Homecoming Parade in memory.

After a year off because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was clear that people were ready to hit the streets and have some fun. With the theme “Out of This World,” close to 30 floats participated in this year’s parade which benefitted from perfect conditions.

The parade used to be a high school event, but over the years many of the middle and elementary schools in WPS have joined in making it a community-wide event.
