WPS Registration is Now Open

Online enrollment for all Westminster Public Schools for the 2022-23 school year opened on Thursday, January 13.

All students, even those who are not changing schools, must visit to complete the process.

The 2022-23 enrollment guide can be found here. It provides an overview of every school in the district along with other important information about Westminster Public Schools.

It is important to remember that WPS is an open enrollment district, meaning parents can choose any school they would like their child to attend, but in schools where there are limited slots, priority is given to returning students and those who have registered early.

If you have friends or family living in another community, encourage them to consider Westminster Public Schools. Our personalized Competency Based System ensures that all children reach their full potential.

Also on Thursday, Westminster High School will be hosting its annual “Why Westy?” night at 5:00 p.m.

It’s an opportunity for 8th-grade students to tour the high school and learn about programs that include IB, CTE, PLTW and Creative Arts. Interested students will also have the opportunity to talk to existing students and teachers about life at WHS. Go to to learn more about the programs offered at Westy.

Dinner will also be served from the Wolf Bites food truck.

Guests are also invited to attend the Westy Boys Basketball game against Lakewood High School, which will include door prizes and a chance to load up on Westy gear.
