Add the Homecoming Parade to Your Calendar

On Saturday, October 1, the streets of Westminster will once again be filled with color and creativity for the Westminster High School Homecoming Parade with the theme of “Happily Ever After”.

It begins at 10:00 a.m. at the high school before making its way north on Lowell Blvd to 76th avenue and heading west to Bradburn Blvd. The parade then heads south back to the high school.

Joining the high school students in the parade are schools from across the district and various community organizations.

The senior class float will be built around the movie “UP”, while juniors will have kings and queens around the theme “Ruling Class”. Sophomores have adopted the movie, “COCO" for their float, and the freshmen are using “Aladdin” as their theme.

The parade kicks off a week of activities for the high school students, ending with the annual homecoming dance the following Saturday.

Public events, in addition to the parade, are the Powder Puff football game on Wednesday, October 5, at Memorial Stadium and the Homecoming Football game on Friday night against Mountain Range High School. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
